"I WILL LOVE YOU TOO THE MOON AND BACK"
{ To My Husband And Best Friend..... Nico }

"This will always reminds me of Nico. And this quote will always remind me of our relationship. I love the message....... don't you ? "
{ Let Life Be A Flower }
"A flower could show you the way back to the Source, to yourself. When you look at it or hold it & let it be without imposing a word of mental label on it, a sense of awe, of wonder, arises within you. Its essence silently communicates itself to you and reflects your own essence back to you.” Eckhart Tolle
{ What Is Coffee ? }
Coffee is a lot more than just a drink. It's something happening, an event, a place to be somewhere within yourself. It gives you time, not in actual hours or minutes, but in a chance to be yourself, and have a second cup.
{ Wish Upon A Dandelite }
"I often make wishes on dandelion seeds, then blow them to the wind and hope they come true. Sounds silly, but it doesn’t hurt to have extra help…..you never know."
{ Things I Have Learned }
"I’ve learned a lot this year.. I learned that things don’t always turn our the way you planned, or the way you think they should. And I’ve learned that there are things that go wrong that don’t always get fixed or get put back together the way they were before. I’ve learned that some broken things stay broken, and I’ve learned that you can get through bad times and keep looking for better ones, as long as you have people who love you."
{ Monday's }
I’m so excited for this week! i've actually been looking forward to today (monday) so i'm happy it is finally here. a less-stressful week could actually mean that i will have time to blog more than once this week. hooray! :) i might be the only one, but i think mondays are secretly my favorite day of the week. so much potential, you know? happy monday!

{ Do you ever....}
Do you ever see something and it totally just makes you stop and stare? It happens to me kind of often and usually it's because something simple catches my eye [like a color, a shape, or a pattern], and then I sit and stare at every little detail. In India were we staying at a nice resort and I saw THIS......and I sat and stared at this Roses for at least 3.5 minutes....Beauty.
{ Planning Ahead }
confession: i loooooove going to the grocery store. specifically the grocery stores that have lots of fresh, local produce. i don't know why, because i usually don't buy that much stuff, but i love looking at all the fun stuff there is to eat out there! like, love love LOVE. which usually wouldn't be a problem. except when your husband points out that you go to the grocery store almost every day.....secretly hinting that he'd rather not accompany you on your daily trips. it was all very diplomatic of him, and he was totally right!
the truth is......i've also gotten pretty lazy when it comes to planning our meals. which is a problem for 2 reasons: 1. i go to the grocery store every day [this "problem" is debatable], and 2. when i buy vegetables they go bad before i can even use them due to my lack of planning.
SO, wait for iiiiiiiit.......i decided to buy notepads for my grocery lists so that i would be more motivated to plan our dinners, only go to the grocery store once [or twice] a week, and actually be able to eat the vegetables that i buy!!!!!! we'll see if it helps, but even if it doesn't, i had way too much fun buying this little notepads!
moral of the story: eat your vegetables!

{ Life Is Beautiful }
"Because i love making lists, i thought i'd share just a few things i've learned in my lifetime."
be grateful and content at every stage of life
don't be so hard on others, and don't be so hard on yourself.
exercising and eating vegetables makes any day a good day.
life is more beautiful when life is simple.
{ Trips To Love }
for the most part i really love taking trips but my entire life i have always been a major homebody. i get homesick really quick and i love being in my normal routines and in a familiar space. BUT.....i have to say, Singapore and Malaysia was such a fun break! i have a tiny little tan and a few thrift store goodies to prove it. :)
{ You Are Free To Be Yourself }
Don’t swallow your anger and have it settle in your body. When you get upset, give yourself a physical release. There are several methods you can use to release these feelings in positive ways. My favourite is to scream in my car with the windows closed. You can beat your bed or kick your pillows. You can make noise and say all the things you want to say. You can scream into a pillow. You can run around the house, or play a game like tennis to release the energy. Beat the bed or kick pillows at least once a week, whether you feel angry or not….just to release those physical tension you store in your body.
{ Time For Cleaning }
Now after all this rainy days I officially gone into post-Winter detox mode, and I figured cutting back to just one dessert a day instead of three would probably be a good place to start....? ;)
I've also been on a cleaning & simplifying spree over the past May month and have already gotten rid of bags & bags of stuff. It feels so good! After getting done with my “Autumn cleaning”, I felt like I couldn't even think until things were a bit more organized around here. Feeling very grateful for this random motivation I've been having, and hoping it lasts.
{ Sunny Monday }
It was a little rainy the end of last week, but yesterday was more than beautiful. When I got home from work yesterday I opened all the blinds to let in all the fresh new light. Light was streaming in like it had never streamed in before, it seemed. I could finally see parts of our living room I had forgotten even existed! Colors were more vibrant, and everything was more clear. (Yes, our house really IS that dim most of the year...)
I've had a few moments of clarity in my life that I will always remember, and every time seems to involve light. Yesterday was one of those moments. I puttered around for a little while, straightening pillows, wiping the kitchen counters, and thinking to myself of a nonspecific time in the future when everything would all eventually fit together perfectly.
{ Ocean Drive }
Life is different at the sea. Time doesn't move hour to hour but mood to moment. The sea has its way of making you live by the currents and plan by the waves. The only time measurer is the sun and you follow it just to see its majestic rise and fall back into the deep blue.
They say that the sea has no memory. I tend to disagree: she remembers me, you, everyone else who has come to greet her. She also has her ways of making you lose yourself, sweap you off your feet and keep you wide awake just by being there.
She's not perfect, but she's the best I've ever had.

{ A Wonderful Quote }
"Dear normal day. Let me be aware of the treasure you are.
Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart.
Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow.
Let me hold you while I can, for it may not always be so.
One day, I will dig my nails into the earth or bury my face in the pillow
or stretch myself taut or raise my hands to the sky
and want, more than all the world, your return."
{ Breeze }
There's just something so utterly calm and unruffled about napping on a cool, breezy day... while hearing chirping birds and feeling clean breezes lightly blow in from the window... sweet bliss!
{ My Two Gifts From Heaven }
I bid you two this sentiment..
Deep inside of you there is a well. A deep well filled with dreams, visions, and ideas. Thoughts of who you are, of what you will become, of what you have dreamt about your entire life; aching to come out, to be heard.
Today, I can promise you that if you listen to those things, they will become you... because they are you. They are the essence of what you were born to do, who you were born to be.
So today I ask that you listen, & believe. That still small voice inside of you of whispering. It's called your destiny. And today you will find it, because it has already found you. It's time.
{ Teetyd }
Mens hoef mos nie altyd op "Eksotiese" en "Fancy" plekke inspirasie te loop soek nie, jy kan dit sommer op jou eie stoep kry."
{ Forgiveness }
When someone has hurt you, it’s hard to be peaceful. But you do it anyway because you know peace is the only battle worth taking. Peace is beautiful; it is the token of your love, and the best resolution for a brighter future.
Being peaceful is hard sometimes; much harder than being angry and unforgiving. It requires you to stay calm and let go of the pain. It requires you to forgive and move on. Of course, you don’t do these things just for the person who has hurt you, but for your own wellbeing.

{ You Are Resilient }
Resilience is the ability to get up again and again until the obstacle you face gives up and all resistance crumbles. You have done this before. You have what it takes. You have experienced the breakthrough that comes with persistence and perseverance. There are numerous examples in your life story of the great bounce-back you have. Nothing can hold you down without your permission.
You will be knocked down from time to time. Your resilience will and must be tested. When the test comes, be ready to land on your back, because if you can look up, you can get up. And, by the way, while you are down there, make sure you pick something up. Every bounce should add a little more spring. In the good times you put it in your pocket, in the tough times you put it in your heart. Use every life experience to move you closer to your dream and drive you to your destiny.
{ Be Crateful Today }
Satisfaction is not always the fulfillment of what you want. It is the realization of how blessed you are for what you have. It’s not that everything will be easy or exactly as you had expected, but you must choose to be grateful for all that you have, and happy that you got a chance to live this life, no matter how it turns out.
{ Some Girly Advise }
"Time to dip your toe into the deep end. Try things. Say hi already. Laugh a lot. Mess up. Apologize. Mess up again. Hug people. Take chances. Trust yourself. Lose things. Get over it. Hold your friends close, be brave and you’ll have the time of your life.”
