{Southbroom Beach}
I opened up my bedroom window this morning and awoke to the smell of the sea. It was heavenly. The fact that I could smell the salt in the air surprised me. But then I remembered, oh yeah, we live just a few blocks away from the ocean.
Since I can't see the ocean from our home, sometimes I forget my true geographical location. Sounds silly, I know. But this simple realization completely brightened my morning. I literally live in a house by the sea.
